Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone,

the new has come!                                                                                        (2 Corinthians 5:17)
A new creation. A fresh start. For all of us who have ever wished we could

start over, this is good news. However, before we can really appreciate this

good news, we need to understand exactly why we need to start over. Why

do we need to become a new creation? Why do we need salvation?

To understand this, we will have to go back to the Word and in Hebrews 6:1-2;

Hebrews 6:1-2

¹Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ , let us go unto maturity;  not

laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,²Of the

doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of ressurection of the dead, and of

eternal judgment. ³And this will we do, if God permits.
